Hi folks.
Here at the Halfway House Inn, we are looking forward to 2026
This year we are going to be focusing on creating an amazing experience for new/ returning outdoor adventurers, fishing community, real pub lovers, walkers etc ...- who know and love our campsite.
To that end, we will be focusing on creating the best environment for them in our main Pub Campsite, and we will be making it Adult Only (Over 18s)
Mom/ Dad don’t worry, the above change does not affect our Pub & Guest accommodation. Also, Our Wild Camping Field will not be affected either, it will still be an amazing experience for families to really embrace the beauty of Shropshire’s golden countryside. No WIFI, no electricity, just quality, family time, sitting around a campfire & making memories – PERFECT.
Our park consists of:
Pitches
4 x gravel only pitches, with electric hook up
5 x grass only pitches, with electric hook up
17 x hard standing & grass pitches, with electric hook up.
Majority of pitches are next to a freshwater tap. We allow small campfires & BBQ's.
Facilities
On-site 16th Century Inn, serving home cooked food & a great selection of drinks
Purpose built amenity block with 1 ladies toilet & free, hot shower, 1 gents toilet & free, hot shower & 1 Unisex toilet & free, hot showe. We also leave our pub toilets open 24/7.
Hot & cold water, washing up area (FREE)
1 x chemical waste disposal area
2 x grey waste disposal areas
Recycle bin area
Separate, overflow car park (FREE)
We even have a Dog poo bin!
We accept motorhomes, campervans, twin/ single axle caravans, trailer tents & tents.
